Catdroool Weekly Round-up #1: 10/30/2024

I’m trying something new. I don’t really know how to do “content.” I’m just a human. A human that makes art, but also experiences other human things. So here are some art things and human things from my past week:

3. November’s Art Mail

November’s Catdroool Club is a 3-color risograph print that reads “Do Something Good Today.” More on this phrase later. For the month of November I am donating $1 of every subscription to Anera: a group providing humanitarian aid to Palestinians.

7. I voted.

Do I wish there were better options? Yes. Do I wish we didn’t have a 2 party system? Yes. Do I want to support a candidate who funds genocide? No. Do I want Trump in office again? No. Do I wish we didn’t live in dystopia? Of course. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

8. I made 2 mirrors recently.

Here is one of them. You can see and purchase them at Lot’sa in Chicago. They are made from recycled paper, glue, and acrylic paint. I think they’re really neat and fun.

9. I love Halloween.
